Meet our contenders
Henri Ganz

Henri carries on the flame. Not as a born magician - but as someone who only encountered it after he had already embarked on a different path of study. As his flame of knowledge slowly turned into an electric crackle, he realised that his path would now take him in a new direction.
Coming from the world of political theories, analyses and ambiguity, he immersed himself in a world where magic runs in clear lines and yet many paths lead to the same goal. Where mathematical rules and creative optimisation are not opposites.
He is particularly fascinated by those places where his two worlds overlap, influence each other and give rise to new approaches to old questions. He believes that both areas can learn from each other and improve each other - not only in theory, but also in practical design.
Paul Widzgowski

I am Paul Caelius, keeper of lost writings, weaver of logic and knowledge. I do not advertise myself with empty promises, but with living magic. If I am granted your trust, I will create a renewed library: with space for more than just magical studies and free access for all inquisitive minds. Our meals will be delivered to the most skilled alchemists - perhaps even on Fridays and in the mystical land of GU. And for all those who are new among us: Don't get lost in the jungle of forms and magically sealed portals: Not only first-semester students can find support and tutorials.
Clara Weinhold

Clara, a tiefling from the mist-covered Shadowlands, grew up among glowing crystals, weathered wood, and ancient magic - in a village where technology felt like lost artifacts from another world. Early on, she learned to work with her hands; wood in particular spoke to her - patient, yet alive.
At university, she encountered a new kind of magic - circuits, schematics, creation through logic. What once seemed foreign became familiar through touch: hardware, design, tangible ideas. Her code? Clearly commented, sometimes wild like her tiefling nature - not textbook-perfect, but powerful.
Clara is open, attentive, always seeking genuine exchange. She knows: every good adventuring party needs strong companions at the front- people who lead so others can shine. That’s why she’s glad Henri and Paul are taking the lead in the student council - not out of duty, but because it’s where they truly shine. And herself? She’s at her strongest when she’s in the thick of it - in conversation, in connection, in motion.
Christoph Thom?

Christoph doesn't just spend an insane amount of time in the libraries at the University of Bamberg – he feels like he's everywhere. And nobody knows how he does it. He's especially often in places where events and get-togethers make student life a little more colourful and human.
With a magical mind full of student stories, which he likes to tell again and again in slightly different versions and with the energy of a slightly manic bard, Christoph roams the university – always with an open ear, unconditional respect, and the hope of using his empathic commitment with purpose.
After all, who says that magic can't also be found in collaboration, canteen talks, student council campaigns – or a particularly user-friendly student policy?
Alice Alferink

Alice Morgenblatt is an extraordinary alchemist whose knowledge goes far beyond the conventional. She combines centuries-old knowledge of herbal medicine and alchemy with modern analytical thinking, honed through her studies in arcane computer science. With a clear, structured mind and a deep intuition, she creates formulas that utilise both ancient rituals and innovative insights. She initiates new students into the secrets of the city and of studying. For her, the search for knowledge always goes hand in hand with fun and community.
With empathy and a fighting spirit, Alice Morgenblatt is committed to constantly refining the formulas of the magic faculty.
Sandra Gei?er

As a mage and high priestess at Morrígan’s threshold, Sandra walks between meaning and structure, where words hold power and code becomes invocation.
Born of the ancient halls of symbols, where language shapes and thought is guided, she learned early to read the invisible threads that bind all things – words as potent magic.
But her craft did not remain in interpretation. She heeded the call of form, stepping into the realm of patterns, where fragments grow into systems and orders are rewritten in code and runes.
In the liminal space between meaning and mechanism, she weaves her creations – not by reading, but by shaping. From chaos she draws structure, from transition, possibility.
She works not at the center, but at the edge – where transformation begins.
Kevin Gutjahr

Kevin, keeper of forgotten archives and guardian of hidden systems, walks at the intersection of mind and machine.
Since the early days of the digital age, he has been researching the ancient mechanisms that are now only known as “artificial intelligence”.
With a keen sense for unspoken needs, Kevin not only reads the words, but also the problems of the students and takes care of them with foresight.
On long nights, when the lights are still on in the corridors of the university, he conjures up encounters - with ideas that connect people. Spaces for exchange, growth and reflection emerge from the noise of the systems.
