Recognition of academic achievements
Would you like to have study and examination achievements recognized that you have completed at another university in Germany or abroad or in another degree program?
Please first check the module handbook to find out which subject representative is responsible for you. If necessary, contact the Student Advisory Service, Ms. Sachse-Thürer.
If you would like to have an achievement recognized by the Chair of Sociology, especially Social Inequality, please send an e-mail to the secretary's office with the following information:
- Name and matriculation number
- Module in which the credit is to be recognized in Bamberg
- Module description of the course to be recognized (if the module description is too brief and too general, you must also submit a course description that clearly states the content of the course and the corresponding module)
- Transcript of Records (incl. grading system), if applicable
- Completed application for credit transfer (Bachelor or Master)
Students' signatures on applications for credit transfer must be original signatures, either as a digital signature ("inserted image of the signature") or as a manually scanned signature.
We will no longer process applications in which the signature has been inserted "by system signature".
Please note that we can only process complete applications. If you have any questions, please contact the Student Advisory Service, Ms. Sachse-Thürer, before contacting the Chair.
Further information can also be found on the homepage "Recognition of external academic achievements".
