05.06.2025 - Day of the environment

An exciting program for school classes, families and all interested parties awaits you in Hainpark on Environment Day!

In 1976, June 5 was declared Environment Day by the Federal Republic of Germany. Various events and campaigns are held on this day to promote ecological courage and environmental awareness. Around 150 countries worldwide take part in this World Environment Day  (BMUV). 

This year, BiBa Bamberg is once again organizing an exciting programme for Environment Day. Experience a colorful program for school classes, seminar groups, families and all interested and committed people! 

We would also like to take the opportunity and take a look at the otherwise hidden way of life of wild bees with you from 11:00-12:00 by examining the educational nesting aids installed in the Hainpark and visiting the Sandarium created in cooperation.
