BFC-B-02: Financial Intermediaries

Course Description

The course deals with business models as well as financial control of banks. To begin with, the module presents the major tasks of financial intermediaries. Subsequently, the deposit and lending business of banks are discussed in greater detail. In addition, we take a closer look at aspects referring to the risk management of banks. Finally, main features of the regulation of financial intermediaries as well as of the
cost accounting of banks are discussed.
